A Meaningful Certificate
Every year companies and sites spend money for outside training only to find that there was no real learning and no direct improvement in their operation. Training from equipment suppliers is often biased and does not cover a general subject, just what they are selling. Solid Dosage Training Inc. offers a true certification program with limited attendees (usually 12 max) and administers daily tests with attendees required to study published papers during the evenings. Approximately 50% of the course is spent on the shop floor with the sites’ actual equipment.
Our certificate is recognized by government inspectors as evidence of real process understanding learned from a recognized international expert.
We use our own company translators for Arabic, French, Spanish, and Chinese and we have professionally translated course texts available.
❋ Powder Preparation We combine knowledge of powders with the granulating, milling and final blending unit operations to produce a certification in powder preparation. This one week course is customized to first discuss general granulating theory and then learn about the specific technologies they have at the site. In most cases, the certification course can be a prelude to our second certification course entitled Tablet Press Operation.
❋ Tablet Press OperationOur most popular certification course recognized by regulatory agencies as the standard for tablet press understanding.. This one week certification course requires the student to apply theory learned in the classroom on a tablet press used on the site. The attendee learns and applies all 10 recognized Critical Process Parameters (CPPs) that are checked by regulatory agencies during their inspections.
❋ Aqueous Film CoatingLed by one of the true internationally recognized experts,This one week certification course begins with general coating theory and then quickly expands to suspension preparation, coating pan set up and check out followed by coating an actual batch of tablets using the sites coating pans. And we also require the students to perform an AQL test of the batch they set up and coated to better understand coating defects and the impact of optimized coating parameters.
❋ Certification PackagesOur certification program allows for some flexibility so that different people can attend each of the three primary sections or a single set of attendees take all three and follow through from powders and presses into the coating operation. Doing this provides a complete education in the critical areas of solid dosage production.
