Fred Rowley began teaching tablet manufacturing in 1978 to fellow employees. Following several guest lectures, he developed and began teaching a 3 day course at the Center For Professional Advancement where he visited companies using all his PTO time for teaching.
As the industry grew, Solid Dosage Training, Inc. was established in 2004 with one goal in mind: to train companies in the science of tablet manufacturing. Up until this time there were virtually no training courses that gave accurate, unbiased and science based training in these areas.
Since that time, we have taught in 37 countries, at the graduate level in colleges of Pharmacy, lectured at the US FDA and at virtually all the major generic and nutritional supplement companies.
We often certify operators and staff with a real, meaningful certificate backed up by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education, an organization that works hand in hand with the US FDA to establish teaching standards for pharmacists.
We are often imitated, and we recognize that imitation is the greatest form of flattery.
